Paris 2024 Canoe Sprint: Czechia’s Martin Fuksa and Josef Dostal wins gold
Czechia’s Martin Fuksa claimed the gold medal he has long been craving after winning the men’s canoe single 1000m final at Paris 2024.
Fuksa is also the world record holder, posting 3:42.38 in 2018, and set what is now the old Olympic Record in the semi-finals here with a time of 3:44.69.
At the same time, Czechia’s Josef Dostal added gold to his Olympic collection after winning the men’s kayak single 1000m final at Paris 2024.
