Kyrgyzstan is planning to reinstate the patent-based tax system for small and medium-sized businesses. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almambet Shykmamatov.<\/p>\n

He clarified that the initiative comes from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the corresponding decree is currently being prepared.<\/p>\n

\u201cPatents will return, but the rates will be recalculated based on the income levels of entrepreneurs and regional specifics,\u201d Shykmamatov explained.<\/p>\n

According to the plan, the patent-based regime will replace the current special tax regimes in several sectors.<\/p>\n

In particular, the special regime will remain in place at the Kara-Suu market, but instead of a unified rate, a patent system will be introduced. For Dordoi\u2014the largest wholesale market in the country\u2014the special regime will be abolished. Additionally, patents have already been approved for the rental of containers and non-residential premises at markets.<\/p>\n

A key benefit for entrepreneurs who obtain a patent will be exemption from the use of cash registers and electronic invoices.<\/p>\n
