Commencing January 1, 2024, the minimum rent per square meter of real estate in Tajikistan is set to experience a 5.88% increase.<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with the stipulations outlined in the &#8220;On the State Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024&#8221; law, the monthly minimum rent will be categorized as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For residential buildings (premises) and their auxiliary buildings \u2013 20% of the calculation indicator.<\/li>\n<li>For real estate utilized for trading activities, catering enterprises, services, and work \u2013 60% of the calculation indicator.<\/li>\n<li>For real estate designated for other types of activities \u2013 45% of the calculation indicator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This adjustment in real estate rental costs is directly linked to the rise in the calculation indicator, transitioning from the current 68 somoni to 72 somoni starting January 1, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, the minimum rent per square meter of housing from January 1 should not fall below 14.4 somoni (compared to the current 13.6 somoni).
