These two rates are calculated by the National Statistics Office or the Bureau of Labour Statistics in countries.<\/p>\n<p>According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, the unemployment rate in the country decreased by 2.5% in the first quarter of 2022 in comparison to the same period in 2021 and dropped to 19.4%. In 2022, the number of employed people grew by 3% (43.500) as compared to the same period of the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>The number of job vacancies published from August 2022 to January 2023 (<u>jobs.ge<\/u>) was 40.531, being 24.3% higher in comparison with the same period of 2021 and 2022. This number increased in January 2023 by 19% compared to December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The number of people getting a monthly salary in January 2023, as compared to the same period in 2022, increased by 2.5% and 10.7% from the corresponding period in 2021. In 2023, the share of people receiving a monthly salary up to 599 GEL amounted to 26.7%, which was 6.5% less than in the same period in 2022 and 7.7% lower than in the same period of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2023, a monthly salary of 2,400 GEL and higher amounted to 17.9%, which is 4.2% more than in 2022 and 6.9% higher than in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The number of people receiving a monthly salary of 9.600 GEL and higher, increased by 26.9% in 2023, compared to 2022 and 78.9% in 2021.
