{"id":41124,"date":"2018-06-05T12:19:30","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T09:19:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.f-chain.com\/?p=346"},"modified":"2018-06-05T12:19:30","modified_gmt":"2018-06-05T09:19:30","slug":"azerbaijan-invites-chinese-companies-to-work-in-alat-free-economic-zone-az","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/az.f-chain.com\/az\/azerbaijan-invites-chinese-companies-to-work-in-alat-free-economic-zone-az\/","title":{"rendered":"Azerbaijan invites Chinese companies to work in Alat free economic zone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1385\" src=\"https:\/\/f-chain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/trend_elet_deniz_limani_300118_18-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"trend_elet_deniz_limani_300118_18\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/>Chinese companies can start to work in Azerbaijan\u2019s Alat free economic zone, Envoy and Trade Representative of Azerbaijan\u2019s Embassy in Beijing Teymur Nadiroghlu said in an interview with China\u2019s Global Times newspaper.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis free economic zone, having one of the most liberal and business-friendly laws and regulations, will serve as an important distribution center in Central Eurasia\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n<p>Nadiroghlu said that Azerbaijani government offers many attractive incentives for foreign investors.<\/p>\n<p>He added that there are several major industrial parks that are operating in Azerbaijan, and the companies that are based in these parks do not need to pay corporate income tax, property tax or land tax for seven years.<br \/>\n\u201cInvestors may get Investment Promotion Document implying incentives,\u201d Nadiroghlu said. \u201cAzerbaijan wants to be not only a transit point but also a logistics, manufacturing and trade center for Chinese companies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAzerbaijan plays an important role in connecting the East and the West due to its geographical location,\u201d Nadiroghlu said. \u201cAzerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev puts great emphasis on constant improvement of the logistics infrastructure of the country.
